Mario Lanza first recorded the aria "Amor Ti Vieta" from Umberto Giordano's 1898 opera Fedoraon May 9, 1952 for his weekly radio show. The conductor was Constantine Callinicos. This rendition is from Lanza's final recording session for his 1951-52 show, and was first commercially released on the 1999 BMG CD Mario Lanza: Opera Arias and Duets.

Mario Lanza's second version of "Amor Ti Vieta" was recorded on July 13, 1955 for the soundtrack of his fifth movie, Serenade(Warner Bros. 1956). The conductor was Ray Heindorf. This recording is best heard on the 2019 Sepia Records CD Mario Lanza: All the Things You Are.
